There is also a regular Sunday session starting at 09:30 from The West Bay Hotel car park. After a warm -up session around the Harbour we typically run for between 35 and 40 minutes either along the beach to Freshwater/Burton Bradstock and back along the golf course (see photos page for route image) or up to Thorncombe Beacon along the very hilly coastal Path. Sometimes inland depending on the coach's schedule.
Membership is £20 per annum payable in April of each year. Everyone of all abilities is welcome to run with the club, and if you wish to then run regularly or just support the club, you are welcome to join. Members are provided with a club vest and membership entitles you to enter any UK Athletics run events at the concession rate granted to club members (typically £2 less per event).
The club run regular social events, and actively encourage members to take part in races and running events, both locally and nationally, as part of the club. We also take part in the Wessex Cross Country League in the winter entering both men and womens teams in most categories over 13. The range of membership is wide and includes experienced runners able to advise on training and provide assistance and support.
Visitors to the area are most welcome to run with us. The best approach is to come on a Wednesday or Sunday. Don't worry about your pace or whether you will be able to keep pace with the group or run for the duration - we always make sure no runners are left on their own or made to feel under any pressure.
Directions to Bridport Leisure Centre. - Entering Bridport from the A35 Lyme Regis, at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto West Bay Road, B3157 signposted Town Centre. At the traffic signals, turn left onto Skilling Hill Road and then left onto Watton Park. Entering Bridport from the A35 Dorchester, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto East Street, B3162 signposted Town Centre. At the traffic signals turn left onto South Street, B3157. At traffic signals turn right onto Skilling Hill Road and then left onto WattonPark.

Directions to West Bay Hotel - Take West Bay Road from Bridport on entering West Bay past the Station Car Park, straight over the mini roundabout and then turn left at the row of shops onto the Burton Bradstock road. The hotel car park is on the right opposite the hotel itself.
